Hinkley Point Under Fire from Energy Industry
Guardian article about Hinkley Point's proposed new nuclear power station.
"The plant, due to open in 2023, will cost as much as the combined bill for Crossrail, the London 2012 Olympics and the revamped Terminal 2 at Heathrow, calculated Peter Atherton, energy analyst at investment bank Jefferies. He said that, for the same price as Hinkley Point C, which will provide 3,200MW of capacity, almost 50,000MW of gas-fired power capacity could be built."

Revolutionary Tidal Fence Generator
Revolutionary tidal fence generator being developed in the UK, which doesn't harm marine life.
Peter Dixon, Kepler’s chairman, told Reuters news agency: “If we can build up to, say, 10km worth, which is a very extended fence, you’re looking at power outputs of five or six hundred megawatts. And just to visualise that, it’s like one small nuclear reactor’s worth of electricity being generated from the tides in the Bristol Channel.”

Bees Stolen from Cemaes Bay
BBC web site news reports bees stolen from Cemaes Bay.
Daily Post report.
Hope Felin Honey gets its bees back. They have been creating an educational centre at their farm between Wylfa and Cemlyn. Katie has worked so hard to make this National Trust farm operational.
May be some of the security patrols around Wylfa Power Station noticed something unusual when the bees were stolen?
