A short section of a temporary road is being constructed to be able to lay the electric cables being placed underground. This section is at Tregele and is required because of the size of cables required here. The larger cabled required here can not be placed in the narrow trench being cut for the other sections.
Visual descriptions of the area around Wylfa, Anglesey, soon to be the site of Wylfa Newydd. What does this area look like now? Watch the changes as they happened. How will this area be changed by the new construction works? Will I still be in the area to see it all happen? The answer is now, no. House sold on 27th January 2016. How might this blog be continued? If you start a new one on Wylfa WalkerNewydd? please let me know and link to this one.

Trenching opposite Tregele
Didn't see an archaeological trench opened up along this line, so assuming this work is part of the ongoing movement of electrical cables.

Reconnecting Electricity after Storm
Having spent the evening of Boxing Day and following morning with no electricity after the last storm - 14 hrs in total we were reconnected at 10.30am on the 27 Dec. The winds on the Llyn Peninsular were recorded at 109mph.
Then more repair work to day with an hour off at 11.50am and another half hour at 3.30. Hopefully we will be OK during the store coming through tonight.
