Marton Fabok wants to Hear from U

PhD student, Marton Fabok wants to hear from people in the area about how they feel about the local nuclear power station at Wylfa.
What are your perspectives on the nuclear plant and what kind of future the ne plant means for teh people of Anglesey and Cemaes in particular. We hants to hear from a diverse selection of people; old Cemaes families and new incomers; supporters and sceptics.

Notice he talks about 'the new station' and not the 'proposed new station'.
The environmental surveys are still underway, as are the geology studies, the public consultation phase has not yet started and the plant has no operational license in the UK nor has a planning application been approved.Not sure an economic model for construction or operation has even been demonstration yet.
  

Porth yr Ogof Still Closed

The beach to Porth yr Ogof is still closed. The access way made to dismantle the old lifeboat station is unstable and having taken away the galvanised steps to the side of the old building there is no way down until new steps are made.

Orchids in Flower on Coastal Path

The orchids are just starting to bloom along the coastal path at Wylfa.
The first purple flower has just shown with more to come, still green in the grass fringe along the footpath, so be careful where you tread.

Alternative Route around Wylfa Nature Trail

Another session as a local tour guide this morning to assist two Americans walking the Anglesey Coastal Footpath.
The new signage at the Nature Trail gives the alternative route around the nature area at Wylfa, but doesn't say why it is necessary. Assume its still problems associated with dangerous trees after the spring storms.
Americans happy with their walk around the coastal path, heading towards Church Bay and dinner at the Lobster Pot.
