Reconnecting Electricity after Storm

Having spent the evening of Boxing Day and following morning with no electricity after the last storm - 14 hrs in total we were reconnected at 10.30am on the 27 Dec. The winds on the Llyn Peninsular were recorded at 109mph.
Then more repair work to day with an hour off at 11.50am and another half hour at 3.30. Hopefully we will be OK during the store coming through tonight.

Calm Christmas Day

A calm and sunny Christmas Day. Having just been through two Atlantic storms a third is on its way for 27-28Dec.

The access roadway to Porth yr Ogof is starting to be eroded away and be washed away by rain and underground water running from inland. The demolition material is being uncovered which they buried beneath the trackway used by the machines to pull down the old lifeboat station.

Storm Passes over Cemlyn

Storm force 9 winds blow over Cemlyn. Shelter on the beach from the stone ridge. Waves and sprat hitting the Skerries, but too windy to stand up to the wind and take a photo. All the stones thrown up onto the car park from the last storm now tipped back on the beach from the car park!
