New Path to Beach at Porth yr Ogof

A JCB has spent a couple of days cutting back the bank leading to the beach at Porth yr Ogof.
The old path had virtually been washed away at its base, leaving a 6 foot jump to the beach itself.

  1. Hi,
did you see that the stream appears to have collapsed the bank again. I was hoping this access might mean the rubbish would be cleared from the old lifeboat shed.

BTW, thanks for posting. good to keep in touch with what's happening :)

  2. Sadly I believe the track is to enable a machine to get on the beach and demolish the lifeboat station.
The collapsed path was cut back again on 22 April ready for the work to take place, along with the other 13 properties - having built two bat roosts for the displaced bats to fulfil planning and environmental regulations.
