Sorry to inform regular readers that I have had to sell up and move away from the area.
Not directly associated with the new power station, but caused by the impending developments in Tregele.
How might this Blog continue?
It's possible to keep an eye on planning developments from a distance, but keeping up to date photographs as how things develop could only be done e someone who walks around the area on a regular basis. And I don't really see anyone who does that. In fact the whole area is pretty much deserted most of the time.
If anyone local - perhaps a couple of people sharing the activity, but independent of Horizon or the Council, wants to submit photos to me on a regular basis to show how things change? Get in touch. It would be great to keep up to date with how things develop.
Visual descriptions of the area around Wylfa, Anglesey, soon to be the site of Wylfa Newydd. What does this area look like now? Watch the changes as they happened. How will this area be changed by the new construction works? Will I still be in the area to see it all happen? The answer is now, no. House sold on 27th January 2016. How might this blog be continued? If you start a new one on Wylfa WalkerNewydd? please let me know and link to this one.

Hinckley Point Delays
BBC News about delays to Hinckley Point.
Share price in EDF has halved as energy prices drop.
"It's facing a costly refurbishment programme to extend the life of its French nuclear plants. And in Hinkley Point C, it would be committing to a project that will cost more than its current market capitalisation."

Temporary Road for Electric Cable Laying
A short section of a temporary road is being constructed to be able to lay the electric cables being placed underground. This section is at Tregele and is required because of the size of cables required here. The larger cabled required here can not be placed in the narrow trench being cut for the other sections.

Trenching opposite Tregele
Didn't see an archaeological trench opened up along this line, so assuming this work is part of the ongoing movement of electrical cables.
