Sunset over Cemlyn Nature Reserve |
Visual descriptions of the area around Wylfa, Anglesey, soon to be the site of Wylfa Newydd. What does this area look like now? Watch the changes as they happened. How will this area be changed by the new construction works? Will I still be in the area to see it all happen? The answer is now, no. House sold on 27th January 2016. How might this blog be continued? If you start a new one on Wylfa WalkerNewydd? please let me know and link to this one.

Panoramic View from Tregele
Two photographers set up tripod and take some panoramic shots from the Tregele junction looking west towards the fields. The earlier consultation describes an earth bank in the field to shield noise and view of the construction site for residents of Tregele. But the visualisation of what that would look like were none existent. Perhaps this is to create better reference points for residents?
The current view is of Anglesey countryside, flanked by AONB coastline.
The petrol station might get relocated further down the road to the south. But the view of the setting sun might get lost!

Sunset from Tregele
This view from Tregele will probably be lost once the new power station 'environmental remediation' works are implemented. The large earth bank topped with trees - to cut down noise pollution from construction works and operation - will hide the view of the far ridge and the two new reactor buildings will probably be seen in the right of the picture.
