New wind turbine erected to west of the proposed nuclear power station.
Visual descriptions of the area around Wylfa, Anglesey, soon to be the site of Wylfa Newydd. What does this area look like now? Watch the changes as they happened. How will this area be changed by the new construction works? Will I still be in the area to see it all happen? The answer is now, no. House sold on 27th January 2016. How might this blog be continued? If you start a new one on Wylfa WalkerNewydd? please let me know and link to this one.

Evening View of Isle of Man
Calm, still warm evening. No clouds. Great view of Isle of Man and Scotland.
Soon to have lots of wind turbines constructed between here and Anglesey.
Enjoy an uninterrupted view while you can.

East of Porth Wen
There are five locations proposed along this coast for landing cables on Anglesey from the Celtic Array wind farm proposed between the island and the Isle of Man. All between Bull Bay and Llaneilian.
Each will connect to a sub-station and then to the sub-station at Wylfa or the grid lines leading from Wylfa. You can see the Isle of man from here on clear days, so all the wind turbines will be seen also. Just like all the ones off Llandudno, where the cables came ashore near St Asaph and were buried underground to a substation in land.
